On my way to Cincinnati. Ordered 3 spring rolls for 1.99 and small hot and sour soup for 2.50. Pleasantly surprised. Could taste fresh ginger in the spring rolls. Staff was polite. If you are looking for ambiance, continue on. If you are looking for yummy food, you found it.

When I try a new a Chinese restaurant, I judge them on how good they make crab Rangoon, steamed dumplings and chicken-on;a-sick. My expectations weren't high since so many have failed the appetizer test, but Oriental Star far far exceeded my expectations! This is my new favorite restaurant! The chicken was tasty and not hard (still juicy), the dumplings were firm and not soggy and the Rangoon were fat and tasty, I'd give it 6 stars if I could . . .

Quick service. Delicious food. This is now a limited table carry out place. I remember when it was a full service place. Food is still as good, but it is sad to see these places that no longer offer table service.

The best Chinese you can get in Town period. Big portions Rangoon is delicious egg rolls are the best and they are nice and polite. Highly recommended

Went for carry out on Christmas Eve. At the time I was the only customer. How sad! The Asian food was wonderful! Everything was piping hot when we brought it home. The egg roll was crisp and perfectly fried. The Hot and Sour soup was both. The Egg Foo Young was filled with fresh vegetables, likewise the Fried Rice. We will return and this restaurant deserves your patronage. You will not be disappointed.

So, I wanted some Chinese food and so i googled location and I found this hole in the wall place. Taste is on point. Quick because I'm on my lunch break. For a small restaurant they met my expectations. So glad they are close to my house. Today Oriental Star gets my

Everything we've ordered here has been delicous. Bourbon chicken is 10/10, sauce is so good. Hot braised chicken is made just they made it at that great little Chinese takeout place on Broadway back in the 80s-90s. Oriental Star still has the big eggrolls. Seems like all of the restaurants serve teeny-tiny eggrolls with a stingy amount of cabbage. Call in your order and it's ready in about 15mins. Lunch special is two meals for me. Egg foo yung lunch special is three meals! Restaurant is tidy but we always get takeout. Never had a wrong order in 10 years. Love this restaurant!
